  • As a native New Yorker, Rich displays a passion for art, architecture, history and music, and has made contributions to each discipline. After earning a college degree in Art & Design, Rich studied under Harold Stevenson at the Academy of Fine Art. Stevenson was a protege of Norman Rockwell. It was upon this solid and historic foundation that DiSilvio perfected his own unique style. DiSilvio's award-winning art has appeared on fantasy and sci-fi book covers and jackets, music CDs, art posters, T-shirts, collector plates, mugs and other media worldwide. His art also appeared on collector plates for the Metropolitan Opera, that also retailed internationally. By later engaging in computer graphics, video and new media he ultimately earned high acclaim for his studio Digital Vista, which now operates in various art and new media capacities for both commercial and fine art. His fine art, and creative insights, have been published in art books, such as "Idea Revolution" by HOW Design Books, calendars and webzines. Likewise, his work has been featured in Decor magazine, Collector Editions, Collector's Mart, Plate World and other respected trade publications.
