  • For a long time I've been creating art mainly for the purpose of enjoyment. The more I think about it, creating art has been sort of a journey. Most of the time I have a sense of direction in my art. Other times I'm not quite sure where I'm headed, but I have faith that I am on the right path. I feel as though each of my paintings will lead me onto newer and better things in the future. I am always exploring new ways in my creativity which keeps my mind and spirit stimulated. The world offers many possibilities for me to create anything I want.

    I have traveled to many different places which has influenced my style of art. In 2005 I went backpacking throughout Europe where I saw some of the most amazing art and architecture. The cities included London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Florence, Prague, Berlin and Amsterdam. I was most intrigued by the art nouveau style of architecture and art in Barcelona and Paris. In 2008 I visited Vietnam and toured the cities of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), and Hue. The whole experience in SE Asia has added a new dimension to my cultural and artistic outlook. I look forward to many more places to travel that will keep my artistic vision firmly on the horizon
