  • Statement:
  • Simplicity has been the basis of his latest collection, LOVE SEX DEATH: A Story About a Nobody. Singular drip figures flow off of the canvas in the most surreal, yet entirely human shapes, illustrating that the essentials of humanity can be summarized in black and white (with the occasional flurry of red). Ben’s pieces can not be entirely defined as one type of art or be contributed to one culture due to his intuitive eye for the universal idea of colors and their symbolism and remarkable aptitude for combining color and movement to evoke emotion in his viewers.
